  Ways to Volunteer

Volunteers are an important part of our Head Start program.   We have a great need for volunteers in a number of areas including:

  • Helping in a classroom full of 3 and 4-year old children

  • Provide training/professional development opportunities

  • Cleaning, spreading woodchips, and helping with the general upkeep of playgrounds

  • Sharing a special talent such as music, karate, juggling

  • At-home projects (cutting out, putting together items for upcoming activities) maintaining playgrounds, washing blankets, etc.

  • Much, much more….

To ensure safety, volunteers will never leave be left alone with children.  Only staff will accompany children to the bathroom and open secured entry doors into the classroom.
