ATTENTION ELKLAND 1 & 2 PARENTS

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Elkland 1 & 2 classrooms.  As a result, the classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning Monday, 5/2/22 through Wednesday, 5/4/22.  In-person learning will resume on Thursday, 5/5/22.

ATTENTION NORTHEAST BRADFORD PARENTS:
Northeast Bradford School District will be dismissing early, due to a power outage. They did have power however it is out again now.
The Northeast Bradford Head Start class will be pivoting to remote services today. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Troy 1 classroom.  As a result, the Troy 1 classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, April 12 and resume in-person learning on Wednesday, April 13.

February 24, 2022

A COVID-19 concern has been identified in the Mansfield classroom.  As a result, the Mansfield classroom will pivot to remote programming for today, Thursday, February 24.2022.  We will plan to resume in-person learning on Friday, February 25, 2022.

February 1, 2022

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Canton 2 Head Start classroom.  As a result, the classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning Wednesday, February 2 through Monday, February 7.  In-person learning will resume on Tuesday, February 8.

January 31, 2022

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Canton 1 Head Start classroom.  As a result, the classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning Tuesday, February 1 thru Friday, February 4.  In-person learning will resume on Monday, February 7.

A COVID-19 concern has been identified in the Canton 2 Head Start classroom.  As a result, the Canton 2 classroom will pivot to remote programming for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 1 with plans to reopen on Wednesday, February 2.

January 26, 2022

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Troy 2 classroom.  As a result, the classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning today through Friday, February 4.  In-person learning will resume on Monday, February 7.

Troy 1 and 2 will be remote today due to a potential COVID-19 issue. The COVID team will meet today to determine further remote days.
January 23, 2022

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Rome classroom.  As a result, the Rome classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning tomorrow, Monday, January 24 through Monday, January 31.  In-person learning will resume on Tuesday, February 1.

COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Towanda classroom.  As a result, the Towanda  classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning Monday, January 24, 2022 through Monday, January 31, 2022.  In-person learning will resume on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Athens 2 classroom.  As a result, the Athens 2 classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning Thursday, January 20 through Friday, January 28.  In-person learning will resume on Tuesday, February 1, as Monday January 31 is a Classroom Closed Day.

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Athens 3 classroom.  As a result, the Athens 3 classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning tomorrow, January 20 through Monday, January 24.  In-person learning will resume on Tuesday, January 25.

A COVID-19 concern continues to be identified in the Athens 3 classroom.  As a result, the Athens 3 classroom will continue remote programming for Wednesday, January 19.  In-person learning is planned to resume on Thursday, January 20.

A COVID-19 concern is identified in the Athens 3 classroom.  As a result, the Athens 3 classroom will pivot to remote programming for Tuesday, January 18.  In-person learning is planned to resume on Wednesday, January 19.

 

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Athens 1 classroom.  As a result, the Athens 1  classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning Tuesday, January 18 through Monday, January 24.  In-person learning will resume on January 25.

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Wellsboro classroom.  As a result, the Wellsboro  classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning Tuesday, January 18 through Thursday, January 20. January 17 and 21 are already “no child days.”  In-person learning will resume on Monday, January 24.
January 15, 2022
A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Blossburg 1 classroom.  As a result, the Blossburg 1 classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning Tuesday, January 18 through Thursday, January 20 ("no child days" are already scheduled for  Monday, January 17 and Friday, January 21). In-person learning will resume on Monday, January 24.
January 10, 2022

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the East Smithfield 1 classroom.  As a result, the East Smithfield 1 classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning Tuesday, January 11 through Friday, January 14.  In-person learning will resume on Tuesday, January 18  as January 17 is a Staff In-Service Day and a no child day.    

January 6, 2022

A COVID-19 concern has been identified in the Wyalusing classroom.  As a result, the Wyalusing classroom will pivot to remote programming for tomorrow, Friday, January 7.  In-person learning will resume on Monday, January 10th.

December 15, 2021

UPDATE: 

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the  Athens 3 classroom.  As a result, the Athens 3 classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning Thursday, December 16 through Tuesday, December 21, 2021.  In-person learning is planned to resume on Monday, January 3, 2022 (winter break is December 22, 2021 thru January 2, 2022).

Due to staffing issues, the Athens 3 classroom is pivoting to remote learning for today, Wednesday, December 15, 2021.  In-person learning is planned to resume on Thursday, December 16, 2021.

December 14, 2021

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Athens 2 classroom.  As a result, the Athens 2 classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning Wednesday, December 15, 2021,  through Tuesday, December 21, 2021.  In-person learning will resume on January 3, 2022 (December 22, 2021 through January 2, 2022 are winter break dates).

A COVID-19 concern has been identified in the Northeast Bradford classroom which effects staffing.  As a result, the Northeast Bradford classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning Monday, December 13, 2021, through Tuesday, December 21, 2021.  In-person learning will resume on Monday, January 3, 2022.  

December 3, 2021

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Rome classroom.  As a result, the Rome classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning Monday, December 6 through Friday, December 10.  In-person learning will resume on Monday, December 13, 2021.  

November 20, 2021

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Elkland 1 classroom.  As a result, the Elkland 1 classroom will pivot to remote programming beginning Monday, November 22 through Tuesday, November 23.  In-person learning will resume on December 1 (November 24 through November 30 are holidays/scheduled classroom closed days). 

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the East Smithfield 1 classroom.  As a result, the East Smithfield 1 classroom will pivot to remote learning beginning Monday, November 22, 2021 through Tuesday, November 23, 2021.  In-person learning will resume on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 (November 24 - November 30 are holidays and scheduled classroom closed days.

The Rome Head Start classroom will pivot to remote learning beginning Monday, November 22 through Tuesday, November 23 in an effort to mitigate risks related to COVID-19. In-person programming will return on December 1 (November 24 - 30 are already scheduled holidays and classroom closed days).

November 17, 2021

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Towanda classroom.  As a result, the Towanda classroom will pivot to remote learning beginning tomorrow, November 17.  In-person learning will resume on December 1, 2021..  

November 16, 2021

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the East Smithfield 2 classroom.  As a result, the East Smithfield 2 classroom will pivot to remote learning beginning tomorrow, November 17, 2021, through November 23, 2021.  In-person learning will resume on December 1, 2021. (November 24 thru November 30 are holidays and classroom closed days).

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Wellsboro classroom.  As a result, the Wellsboro classroom will pivot to remote/virtual learning beginning Friday, 11/12/21 through Friday, 11/19/21. In-person learning will resume on Monday, 11/22/21.

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Blossburg 1 classroom.  As a result, the Blossburg 1 classroom will pivot to remote learning beginning Friday, 11/5/21 through Friday, 11/12/21.  In-person learning will resume on Monday, 11/15/21.

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Athens 3 classroom.  As a result, the Athens 3 classroom will pivot to remote learning beginning November 1, 2021 through November 5, 2021.  In-person learning will resume on November 8, 2021.
October 18, 2021

A COVID-19 positive case has been identified in the Elkland 1 and Elkland 2 classrooms, and as a result, the Elkland 1 and Elkland 2 classrooms will be pivoting to remote programming beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, October 19, 2021, through Friday, October 22, 2021.  In-person programming will resume on Monday, October 25, 2021.  

October 17, 2021
A positive COVID case has been identified in the Troy 1 classroom. As a result the classroom will pivot to remote beginning Monday, 10/18/21 Thru Friday, 10/22/21 with return to inperson on Monday, 10/25/21. Some Troy 2 children have also been identified as close contacts and staff are notifying all parents of children who are close contacts in both classrooms.

Due to a positive COVID-19 case, the Blossburg 1 classroom is pivoting to remote programming beginning tomorrow, Thursday, 10/14/21, through Friday, 10/22/21, with planned return to in-person programming on Monday, 10/25/21.

We received notification that an individual tested positive for COVID-19 in the East Smithfield 1 classroom.  The classroom will pivot to remote instruction. The remote instruction period will begin Tuesday, October 12, 2021 (classroom closed day Monday, October 11, 2021) to Friday, October 15, 2021 with return to in-person on Monday, October 18, 2021.

 We just received notification that another individual tested positive for COVID-19 in the Canton 1 classroom.  This extends the classroom's remote period thru Friday, October 15, 2021 with return to in-person on Monday, October 18, 2021.

Bradford-Tioga Head Start, Inc. just received notification that another individual tested positive for COVID-19 in the Canton 1 classroom.  This extends the classroom's remote period thru Thursday, October 14, 2021 with return to in-person on Friday, October 15, 2021.
October 5, 2021
Due to a COVID-19 positive case at Canton 1, the classroom will pivot to remote beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, 10/6/21 thru Friday, 1/21.  A return to in-person learning is planned for Tuesday, 10/12/21 (Monday, 10/11/21 is already a planned classroom closed day on the program calendar).

The East Smithfield 2 classroom will pivot to remote learning beginning Monday, October 4, 2021, thru Friday, October 8, due to a COVID-19 positive case.  In-person learning is planned to return on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 (Monday, October 11, 2021 is already on the program calendar as a "classroom closed" day). All identified close contacts are being contacted. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we quickly pivot to remote learning.

The Northeast Bradford classroom will pivot to remote learning beginning Wednesday, September 29, 2021, thru Monday, October 4, 2021, due to a COVID-19 positive case.  In-person learning is planned to resume Tuesday, October 5, 2021.

The Mansfield classroom will pivot to remote learning beginning Tuesday, September 28, 2021, thru Friday, October 1, 2021, due to a COVID-19 positive case. We are planning to return to in-person learning on Monday, October 4, 2021. Parents will be contacted.

An additional positive COVID-19 case has been identified at the Troy 1/2 site, and as a result of this, the Troy 1 & Troy 2 classrooms will continue providing remote/virtual programming through Monday, September 27, 2021 and will plan to resume in-person programming on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. 

We appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we assist in stabilizing the health of staff and children at these sites.

A positive COVID-19 case and close contacts have been identified at the Troy 1 classroom. The classroom will pivot to remote learning beginning Monday, September 20, 2021, through Thursday, September 23, 2021, with planned in-person return on Friday, September 24, 2021. PLEASE NOTE that children's return dates will vary depending on exposure. Parents, you will receive a call and will be notified of your child's return date.

The Troy 2 classroom is pivoting to remote/virtual learning effective tomorrow, Friday, September 17, through Tuesday, September 21, 2021, due to a positive COVID-19 case and identified close contacts.  It is planned that in-person learning will resume on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

The Towanda classroom has a positive COVID-19 case, and several Close Contacts have been identifies. As a result, the classroom will pivot to remote learning as of Monday, September 13th and will plan to re-open to in-person services beginning Monday, September 20, 2021

Due to a positive COVID-19 case, the Canton 2 classroom is pivoting to remote/virtual programming beginning tomorrow, September 14 thru September17, 2021, with planned return to in-person services on Monday, September 20, 2021.

Towanda/Rome Early Head Start is also pivoting to remote/virtual programming beginning today, September 13, 2021, thru September 21, 2021 with a planned return to in-person on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, due to a COVID-19 situation.
